The Northumberland Plate Meeting
The three day Northumberland Plate Festival is the North-East’s most loved racing and social occasion of the year. First ran in 1833 and known locally as the Pitmen’s Derby, the Northumberland Plate is one of the richest two mile handicap in Europe with a first prize of £200,000.
Available on John Smith's Northumberland Plate Day, the Diamond Marquee is a fabulous marquee overlooking the track and offers the very best in luxury hospitality.
Alternatively for those wishing to enjoy exclusive marquee facilities but without the full food and beverage option the Pavilion Marquee represents outstanding value for money.
Please note that the Sergeant Cecil Pavilion Marquee is a non-viewing facility and does not have a direct view of the course.
Don't forget that Friday evening 30th June will feature live music from UB 40. The Caribbean Cuisine in the Village Package offers great value for money and is perfect for a lads or ladies get together or staff party. With Caribbean BBQ in the Village it is the ideal setting for the perfect Friday night out.
