Steve Bracknall is the Assistant Manager of Royal Oak FC, the tactical maverick of the Sheffield Imperial League, and the undisputed voice of grassroots football. What began in local football became a global phenomenon when Steve’s emotive, high-stakes team talks went viral, amassing hundreds of millions of views and over 1.5 million followers across social media.
His popularity hit new heights in 2025, when he sold out Sheffield City Hall (2000 tickets) with his live show. He is also currently bringing Royal Oak to a mainstream audience as the host of Game’s Gone: The Steve Bracknall Podcast on BBC Sounds and YouTube, taking a weekly deep dive into why the modern game has well and truly “gone.”

What entrance do I use?
Main Reception Entrance is designated for County Enclosure, Premier Enclosure, and Hospitality Guests, while guests in the Grandstand Enclosure should utilize the entrance located outside the racecourse on Leger Way.
