Kempton Park Racecourse: Home of the King George

      Cheltenham Festival Hospitality

Kempton Park opened in 1878 and has long been one of Britain’s most distinctive dual-purpose venues, combining year-round all-weather flat racing on its Polytrack surface with prestigious National Hunt action.

Its Boxing Day card is among the most eagerly anticipated in the sport, headlined by the Grade 1 King George VI Chase — a race first run in 1937 whose roll of honour includes Kauto Star (five wins) and Desert Orchid. Located in Sunbury-on-Thames with excellent links into London, Kempton is an accessible and iconic fixture on the British racing calendar.
