Ladies Days

Absolutely! Don't let the name deter you, it is still all-inclusive for everyone. You'll often find that when the ladies dress up in their most glamorous outfits, the men often follow suit!

Ladies Days are by definition dressy and lots of Ladies wear a hat or a fascinator, but they are not compulsory, our advice is to dress for the weather.

Quite often there is as Ladies Days generate a party atmosphere to which a Band or a DJ greatly add to. Please check with us as to who’s on at each individual Racecourse.

At most Racecourses Ladies Day is the “Big” day and the Ladies make a huge effort to dress & impress, even where there isn’t a dress code, most Gentlemen wear a Jacket & tie (no jeans) as it adds to the sense of occasion.

It is the industry norm that Bars in Private Boxes & Restaurants close ½ hour after the last Race, with a further ½ hour drinking up time. Some of the public Bars will remain open after this time, especially if there is a Band or a DJ performing.

Usually there is, with some absolutely stunning prizes, but check with us for each Racecourse.
