Newbury Racecourse held its first race in 1905 and has long been one of Britains leading tracks, staging up to 30 days of top class Jumps and Flat racing annually, with at least one raceday in every month of the year.
Without a doubt the highlight of the Jump racing programme at Newbury Racecourse is the Hennessy Gold Cup, which usually takes place in late November, and is the longest running commercial sporting sponsorship in the world.
On the flat, Newburys high quality programme includes th Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes in May.
The racecourse has extensive buildings, which are set amidst over 320 acres of picturesque Berkshire countryside.
