Racing in Ireland
Racing in Ireland is a very different scene to that which many of you will experience in th UK.
With a relaxed and informal feel to it, the emphasis is all about the fun, and above all the Racecourse wants you to stay and enjoy yourself all day and on into the evening.
A typical Raceday Itinerary for the Punchestown Festival would be as follows: (please note times may be subject to change).
Gates Open 12.00 noon
First Race 3.40 pm
Last Race 7.15 pm
Last Order at the Bar 9.15 pm
Bar Closes 9.45 pm
Depart 10.15 pm
We would strongly recommend a Hotel Bed for the night and a lunchtime flight back to the UK the following day.
Enjoy the “Craic”!
