Formally known as the “Mallard” Restaurant, the Home Straight Restaurant offers racegoers comfortable, modern and stylish surroundings in which to soak up all the thrilling atmosphere that a day at the races has to offer.

The Home Straight Restaurant is a top-class Viewing facility situated on the third floor of the impressive Eco-Power stand. With floor to ceiling glass and dedicated Grandstand seating just in front of the Restaurant, you will experience stunning views across the Racecourse and miss none of the action during the day.

The Home Straight Restaurant offers an impressive three course menu, which is served to your table. With drinks service direct to your table, dedicated Tote facilities and flat screen televisions, the Home Straight Restaurant caters for all your requirements in one package.

The St. Leger, the world’s oldest and the fifth and final Classic of the British Flat-racing season, takes pride of place every September on the famous Town Moor.     The historic Ladbrokes St. Leger festival marks the high point of the racing calendar at Doncaster Racecourse. The Furity Trophy in October is the final Group 1 race of the British season, a race for top-class two-year-olds with classic aspirations. While the November Handicap effectively brings to an end the Flat season at Doncaster.

Smart attire for Ladies. Strictly no Denim, Sportswear or Trainers please. Just so you know, this dress code also applies to children.

    Ladies Day at Doncaster is always the Thursday of the St. Leger Festival, click here for more information on ladies day events.

    The St Leger always takes place on the second Saturday in September.

    Usually, gates unlock two hours prior to the commencement of the initial race. However, for notable feature events and festival fixtures, gates might be accessible earlier than usual.

    Race timings are subject to change, so it's advisable to verify the schedule for your particular fixture. Generally, the racecourse, along with its bars and food outlets, will conclude operations shortly following the final race. However, during Live After Racing nights or themed racenights featuring post-race music, the live entertainment will typically last for an hour to 90 minutes after the last race, with the racecourse closing shortly thereafter.

    Main Reception Entrance is designated for County Enclosure, Premier Enclosure, and Hospitality Guests, while guests in the Grandstand Enclosure should utilize the entrance located outside the racecourse on Leger Way.
