Wincanton Racecourse is located in the heart of the Somerset countryside with Bristol and Bournemouth less than 40 miles in either direction.
Wincanton Racecourse stages an excellent programme of quality Jump race meetings from October to May and has an average of two meetings per month during this period. The Saturday meetings provide some of the best racing of the National Hunt season featuring some of the top horses in the country and please note that Sunday and Bank Holiday fixtures are family days.
Feature meetings include Countryside Day in April, it includes terrier racing and ferret racing, and Ladies’ Day at the end of the month, so if you don’t back a winner on the horses why not try the ferrets!
