York Racecourse is proud to have been regularly voted both “UK Racecourse of the Year” and “Northern Racecourse of the Year” by the Racegoers Club. The upcoming season promises to be another cocktail of sporting drama, summer sunshine, culinary delights and luxury hospitality.

Live sport is about seeing the best, the Champions. York hosts such races all season so the top thoroughbreds along with the leading jockeys and trainers are frequent visitors. This year why not come to York in the Spring for the Dante Festival? York only races on one evening in July when a quality Listed Race is followed by live music and in August the Knavesmire plays host to the four day Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival, which following it's successful move from it's traditional mid-week slot in 2011 will once again run from Wednesday to Saturday.

An October fixture provides a fitting finale to the York Season allowing additional opportunity to witness the thrill of York Races.

The Private Boxes at York are available in the three main stands. The Ebor and Voltigeur Restaurants provide Hospitality for smaller parties with private grandstand seating just off the Restaurants, and the Voltigeur Restaurant provides Private tables for parties of 2 to 12 guests. The Dante Suite is used on selected occasions throughout the season.

A: Hospitality Packages start at £115 +vat

Q: Is there a Dress Code at York Races?
A: Dress regulations require both ladies and gentlemen to be smartly dressed (no denim items please). Gentlemen will be expected to wear jackets and ties at all times, open necked shirts and denim will not be permitted, ladies are asked to dress appropriately. Hats are welcome but not obligatory.
