The Private Boxes at Thirsk Racecourse are located on the top floor of the Hambleton Stand with both stair and lift access. Each Private Box is finished to a very high standard and fully equipped with closed circuit television, Private Bar, and convenient Tote betting facilities. With their own Private balcony and a team of dedicated, friendly, and professional staff to look after your every need, there is no better place to spend your day at Thirsk. Combine all of this with spectacular views over the course and you will have a day at the Races to remember.

Private Boxes at Thirsk Racecourse are suitable for both corporate entertaining and special family occasions so whether you want formal or informal dining the Private Boxes at Thirsk can cater for all of your requirements. Private Boxes can cater for parties of 8 to 50 guests.

For cash & account bars there is an additional service charge from the caterers.

Account bar – an estimated £20 per person +vat required on booking with actual consumption invoiced in full after the event.

Cash bar – This option requires an additional staff member charged at £136.25 +vat (for each staff member needed).

An optional bar package will incur no additional staff costs.

Thirsk Racecourse The Pavilion Suite

Suitable for larger parties of between 60 and 100 guests, this fabulous facility is located on the first floor of the Racecourse Pavilion. Fully equipped with closed circuit television, Private Bar, and convenient Tote betting facilities this Private Room boasts its own Private Balcony with views across the Racecoure and Parade Ring. The Pavilion Suite is the ideal hospitality facility for larger family or corporate events at Thirsk Racecourse.
