      Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse: Wales's Northern Jump Venue

      Cheltenham Festival Hospitality

      Established in 1859, Bangor-on-Dee is the only racecourse in north Wales and one of the most characterful venues in British racing. It is notably the only racecourse in Britain without a grandstand, giving it an open, informal feel that racegoers love — though an umbrella is always advisable. The left-handed, triangular track is tight and technical, rewarding agile horses, and attracts runners from many of the sport’s leading yards.
