Kempton Park Racecourse: Home of the King George

      Cheltenham Festival Hospitality

Kempton Park opened in 1878 and has long been one of Britain’s most distinctive dual-purpose venues, combining year-round all-weather flat racing on its Polytrack surface with prestigious National Hunt action.

Its Boxing Day card is among the most eagerly anticipated in the sport, headlined by the Grade 1 King George VI Chase — a race first run in 1937 whose roll of honour includes Kauto Star (five wins) and Desert Orchid. Located in Sunbury-on-Thames with excellent links into London, Kempton is an accessible and iconic fixture on the British racing calendar.

There’s no strict dress code to attend the course. As a general rule, smart dress is acceptable anywhere. We would request you avoid wearing denim with rips or tears, flip flops and football shirts to the racecourse. Smart dress is encouraged for major race days, though not compulsory. If you’re joining us in the Panoramic Restaurant or Private Boxes, we advise a smart-casual dress code.

All of our hospitality packages include parking.
